    Summary

    The Fund Accountant will join the internal fund accounting team at Constitution Capital Partners, contributing to the operations and financial reporting for the private equity funds managed by the firm. This role entails active involvement in daily operations and quarterly financial reporting.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Daily management of cash and reconciliation of bank accounts

    • Calculation of management fees and allocation of expenses

    • Recording journal entries and maintenance of the Fund’s general ledgers

    • Preparation of capital call and distribution calculations as well as notices to investors

    • Generation of quarterly financial statements and income allocations

    • Calculation of fund performance metrics, including MOIC, gross and net IRR

    • Support in the year-end audit process in coordination with auditors

    • Collaboration with internal teams and investment staff on ad-hoc requests and analysis

     

    Skills/Requirements

    The Fund Accountant role demands a detail orientated self-starter who is passionate about the private equity industry. Additionally, the candidate must possess:

    • 1-3 years of experience in fund accounting or the investment industry, preferably within public accounting or an internal reporting role

    • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Proficiency with Excel and Word

    • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Fund Accountant - Private Credit

    New York, NY

    Position Overview

    Constitution Capital Partners is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its internal fund accounting team, supporting the firm’s private credit platform. This individual will play a key role in the day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and investor reporting processes for CCP’s private credit funds.

    The role offers significant exposure to fund operations, investment activity, and senior team members within a growing credit platform.

    Key Responsibilities

    Fund Operations & Accounting

    • Manage daily cash activity, including bank reconciliations and liquidity monitoring
    • Prepare and post journal entries related to debt investments, including interest income, PIK, amortization, and accretion
    • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of fund-level financial data
    • Calculate and process management fees and expense allocations
    • Coordinate with portfolio management and operations teams on investment activity and reporting

    Investor Reporting

    • Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and investor notices
    • Generate quarterly GAAP financial statements and investor capital account statements
    • Calculate and analyze fund performance metrics, including MOIC, gross IRR, and net IRR

    Audit & Compliance

    • Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
    • Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • 1–4 years of experience in private credit fund accounting, preferably within public accounting or an internal fund reporting role
    • Strong understanding of fund structures, debt investment accounting, and financial reporting principles
    • Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas; VBA a plus)
    • Experience with WSO software is a plus

  • Vice President, Legal Counsel

    Greater Boston

    Role

    Constitution Capital Partners is looking for a Vice President, Legal Counsel to join our team. The role will partner with the investment team, investor relations and senior leadership to provide legal support and act as an advisor. This role is in Andover, MA and is on-site Monday-Friday.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic legal support for complex transactions across all entities.
    • Lead all aspects of private fund formation including drafting, negotiation and management of LPA’s, fund documents, side letters and subscription materials.
    • Support the investment team by evaluating legal and regulatory due diligence in the deal process. Advise on risks, structuring considerations and liability exposure in prospective investments.
    • Review and advise on tax provisions within fund and transaction documentation.
    • Coordinate legal support for tax planning initiatives and regulatory developments affecting the firm and its funds.
    • Manage and coordinate relationships with outside counsel.
    • Provide general legal support on matters and issues as needed.
    • Partner with CCO to evaluate risk management controls.

     

    Qualifications

    • JD and active MA bar membership
    • Strong academic credentials
    • 5+ years of relevant in-house experience or in the private equity/investment management group at a law firm
    • Strong working knowledge of private fund structures (e.g., 3(c)(7) drawdown vehicles) and publicly registered RIC funds, including related operational, compliance and reporting considerations
    • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and provide innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment and the ability to communicate effectively
    • High standards for integrity and ethics

    Base Salary: $200,000 – $275,000
