Constitution Capital is skilled at navigating the extensive lower middle market to identify the most attractive investment opportunities. We review approximately 250 fund investments each year. Of these investments, the team takes meetings with approximately 140 groups, has follow-up meetings with around 70 groups, performs due diligence on approximately 50 groups and invests in an average of five – eight funds each year. Each new fund is assigned two investment professionals to track the fund and potential opportunities are reviewed on a weekly basis.
We maintain a forward calendar of future funds to track potential opportunities and proactively contact funds as they are expected to re-enter the market. Our focus on the North American buyout market gives us the expertise necessary to know market trends, understand the ideal strategies and identify the top managers. The team’s extensive relationship network provides access to exclusive fund investments, as well as direct investment opportunities.
